DISNEY lovers will once again be able to get up close and personal with their favourite characters as hugs and meet and greets are set to return.
Hugs have been banned since Disney World reopened in 2020 after the first wave of the pandemic, and character meet and greets have all been socially distanced.
However, that is all set to change as plans are in place to ease Covid rules at the theme park and on US Disney cruises.
Tiktok account @disneyparks shared a video yesterday where the rope that separates guests from meeting Mickey was removed with Mickey doing a hugging action.
The video was captioned: "The moment we've been waiting for."
A date hasn't yet been announced on when hugs and meet and greets will return, but Walt Disney World News Today speculated it could be around April 17.
