A woman found a first date so bad that she had to fake a positive Covid test to leave his place.

Kali Thompson, from London, said her relationships rule is to always sleep with the man on the first date.

She believes first impression is important and that the man could have "made up his mind already" whether or not to see someone long term.

So as she headed out to meet a new match, she documented the process for her viewers.

Then the next day, Kali responded to a fan who asked her how her date went.

She fumed: "It's probably the worst f***ing day I've ever had in my life.

"To get out of it, because I was feeling I need to leave and I can't spend any more time here, I went to toilet and got my friend to send me a fake Covid positive test, like text.

"I changed my friend's name to the NHS and I went downstairs and tell him 'look, you're not gonna believe it, my test is positive'.

"He's like 'what are you gonna do?' and I said 'Well, I'm gonna have to go home'."

Kali showed the text message, which read "Your coronavirus lateral flow test result is positive. It's likely you are infectious".

"I literally went to his, slept with him. I didn’t even fully sleep with him, I slept with him for like two minutes and was like this is boring, so I was like I need to go," she continued.

Kali added she later went to a club with a friend and "slept with somebody".

Viewers were in stitches when they spotted the mistakes in the text message.

One said: "The name 'NHS PCR Test' and the message: "Lateral flow test"…"

"Should have been PCR not lateral flow, that's the home test," a second added.

Some also felt bad for the man and said he might be isolating at home for seven days since the date.
