Vas J Morgan ‘happy and healthy’ after embarking on fitness journey as it’s helped him mentally – EXCLUSIVE

We've all eaten enough banana breads to last us a lifetime during the pandemic, but one person who is putting us to shame is Vas J Morgan, who has embarked on a fitness journey.
The television personality, who previously opened up about his desire to have children, has been doing Amber Gill's fitness plan Amber FLEXX and recently showed off his incredible transformation on social media.
Speaking exclusively to OK! Online, Vas opened up about why he decided to start working on himself physically and how it's changed him for the better.
The 32 year old said: "I'm feeling happy and healthy, and feeling a lot better within myself.

"In the first lockdown my biggest pastime was baking, I got obsessed with baking, but obviously with baking comes binge eating.
"I was making all of these carrot cakes, banana cakes, chocolate muffins, banana muffins, and I was eating them all to myself, so it made me very lazy and uninspired to do anything but eat.
"So this time round I decided to make a change and using Amber Flex and Make Me Sugar Free, I have literally been going at it at home and I'm feeling great," he divulged.
The former TOWIE star is four weeks into his six week plan, and decided to share his incredible progress on Instagram for his followers to see.

When asked about his results thus far, Vas said: "It happened overnight! I didn't see any results for like two or three weeks, and then one day I woke up and I was like, Ahh, I look different'.
"It's also great for mental health, you just feel so much better in yourself. It gives you something to wake up and do in lockdown and something to be excited about, it's really good for both my physical health and mental health."
The Tings magazine Editor-in-chief, who opened up about coming out as gay on national TV, previously had a well-publicised battle with alcohol and drugs, which he sought help for.
Now Vas has shared that going sugar-free has made a massive difference to his life, after cutting out drugs and alcohol saw him turn to sweets and sugar.

"When you give up alcohol and drugs, your need for Seratonin goes up and sweets and sugar gives you the same release that drugs does.
"As soon as I got sober, my sugar addiction was heightened and I wouldn't be able to go to sleep until I ate three packets of Haribo.
"My diet consisted of desserts only and I ballooned, but going sugar free has made a massive difference in my weight," Vas expressed.
