The return of ‘Mary Poppins’ and farewell to TV’s ‘Timeless’ top the week in entertainment

Tune in: NBC’s “Timeless” gets the time-traveling group back together one last time for a two-part series finale on Thursday, 8 p.m. EST/PST. The series follows a trio of adventurers who travel back in time to try and stop a nefarious organization from altering history.


View: “The House With a Clock in its Walls,” starring Jack Black, Cate Blanchett and Owen Vaccaro, is out on Tuesday. The film stars Vaccaro as an orphan named Lewis who is taken in by his magician uncle (Black). Soon, Lewis discovers his uncle is furiously searching for a clock that could cause the end of the world, hidden in the walls of his house. The film also stars Kyle MacLachlan and Renee Elise Goldsberry.
