Taylor Swift announces ‘Lover Fest’ tour with just 2 US cities

No need to calm down.

On Tuesday, Taylor Swift announced what she’s calling Lover Fest, next year’s tour of her August album, “Lover.” Notably, the “festival” includes only two US cities. The rest of the tour stops are international, starting with a June 20, 2020, show in Belgium.

The “You Need To Calm Down” singer wrote on Instagram, “For me, the Lover album is open fields and sunsets and SUMMER. I want to celebrate the album and perform it live with you in a way that feels authentic to the music. I want to go to some places I haven’t been, and play festivals for the first time in ages.”

Swift added that in cities where there was no festival to play, the powerful pop star simply “made some,” including Lover Fest West in Los Angeles, happening July 25 and 26, and Lover Fest East, going down in Foxborough, Mass., July 31 and Aug. 1.

Fans already enrolled in the “Me!” star’s Ticketmaster Verified Fan club can RSVP now for access to the Oct. 14 ticket presale. Those who want to become one of Taylor Swift’s Tix Verified Fans can register starting Thursday.

Capital One customers will also get early dibs, on Oct. 15 and 16, before the public sale launches Oct. 17.
