Aldi is known for its bargain prices, from food to homeware and everything in between.

Their latest offering has wowed shoppers even more than usual, with a coffee table being compared to a high end piece of furniture.

As we spend more time indoors during the UK national lockdown, we’re looking at ways to keep our homes looking fresh and cosy.

And Aldi can help you out without splashing the cash with this gorgeous coffee table which has bargain hunters racing to the shop.

  • Aldi's freestanding electric heater is the perfect winter buy – and it's yours for £45

  • M&S are launching Percy Pig mini bites and swiss rolls to sweeten your lockdown

The circular table features a wooden and glass top with golden legs, perfect as the centre piece for any living room.

There’s enough space on the wooden panel to keep your newspapers and magazines, or perhaps even a big hardback book.

The table comes in at an affordable £64.99, with, according to Metro, a very similar table being found at luxury furniture shop West Elm at £399.

The range of furniture is set to launch at Aldi as part of their latest collection on November 15 and will also be available online.

It’s not the only piece of furniture which has Aldi shoppers going wild after the return of their much-loved scalloped chair.

Shoppers had a bit of a meltdown back in March when they released a gorgeous velvet scalloped chair for £79.99 – coming in £315 cheaper than a near-identical version by high street retailer Oliver Bonas.

Now the supermarket has announced the pink scalloped chair will also be available in a rich deep blue, along with a matching ottoman in each colour to really make your home look super stylish.

Making for a chic addition to any household this season, the stylish chair and ottoman storage stool come in a choice of navy or blush pink, while the matching ottoman is available in blush pink, teal and grey.

The medium-sized chair has wooden legs and is covered with an upholstered velvet fabric making it the perfect statement piece with the scalloped shape reminiscent of the Art Deco period of the 1930s.
