Sainsbury’s Energy is saying thank you to new customers with a generous Nectar card points boost deal. If signed up by March 18, Britons can claim their extra points which can be spent on various different things.

Nectar Card holders can earn points every time they shop at Sainsbury’s, earning one point for every £1 spent in stores and online.

Customers can also get one point for every litre of fuel purchased in Sainsbury’s fuel stations as well as through hundreds of retailers.

If customers sign up to Sainsbury’s Energy for one year, they’ll receive 4,000 bonus points on sign up or a huge 10,000 Nectar points if signed up for two years.

On top of this, customers who switch their gas and electricity will get triple Nectar points every time they shop at Sainsbury’s.

If customers switch one fuel, they can still benefit from double points.

Points can be spent with Nectar partners such as Sainsbury’s, Argos and Vue Cinemas.

Nectar points can also be claimed at Caffè Nero, Sky Store as well as being collected on train tickets including Avanti West Coast and LNER.

First step is to get a Sainsbury’s Energy quote and add your Nectar account details to make sure the account is linked.

Once the account is linked, customers can enjoy their fixed energy price and collect the bonus points.

If customers don’t have a Nectar card and would like to switch, they can sign up to receive one in a matter of minutes.

In other Nectar card news, shoppers can benefit from 500 bonus points when spending £10 or more on eBay.

This offer is valid until March 15, so you must be quick if you want to claim the extra points.

Once your eBay and Nectar accounts are linked, the offer is available when you spend a minimum of £10 or more on an eligible item on eBay.

Customers can also get personalised weekly offers via the app and website to spend in Sainsbury’s.

Each Friday, shoppers will be sent a range of point-boosting offers to choose from based on their previous shopping habits.

These offers can be viewed on the app or website and saved before doing a food shop at Sainsbury’s.

They typically have to be used within a certain time period, although these are refreshed each week.

In other news, Tesco Clubcard holders can benefit from the Easter egg offers ahead of the big day.

Currently selected large Easter Eggs at Tesco are priced at £3.

However from March 17, customers can pick up large chocolate eggs for just £2 with their Tesco Clubcard.

This is part of Tesco’s Clubcard prices, which sees thousands of products reduced to a lower price.

This deal was first spotted on hotukdeals.com which explained that the deal should be available online from March 16 and in-store a day later.

Easter Eggs on offer include M&M Large Easter Egg 268g, Celebrations Large Milk Chocolate Easter Egg & Chocolates 248g, as well as Aero Peppermint Milk Chocolate Large Easter Egg 252g.
