Reason royal fans are disappointed with Harry and Meghan’s Christmas card

The royals have revealed their Christmas cards today and they all look stunning, albeit very different.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle revealed a beautiful unseen snap from their wedding reception, with an enormous fireworks display erupting in the background.

The intimate snap shows the couple putting their arms around each other’s waists and holding hands with their backs to the camera beside the lake at Frogmore House – the grounds of their future home in Windsor.

But not all royal fans are happy with the couple’s snap for one reason in particular, and they’ve hit social media to share their thoughts.

The fact the photo is in black and white is not to everyone’s taste.

One said: "I would have loved Harry and Meghan’s Christmas card portrait in colour, I just think that would have been even more stunning!

Another agreed: "Not that my opinion matters but I’m not entirely sure about Harry & Meghan’s Christmas card image … it looks like they are overseeing a war zone rather than fireworks! Should have been in colour. That pic of Prince Louis though

Others have made the joke that the fireworks make the photo look somewhat apocalyptic.

One said: "Obvious gag that everyone’s gonna do, but Harry and Meghan’s christmas card looks like they’re watching britain burn."

Some took issue with the couple not facing forwards in the candid shot.

"I have to say that if I got a Christmas card from Harry and Meghan (yeah like that would happen) I would be insulted that they had turned their backs to me. Just not cricket," someone else added.

But not everybody is disappointed by the Christmas card, as others have commented to say it’s "stunning", "beautiful" and "lovely".

"Well Meghan and Harry’s Christmas card is just lovely isn’t it?" a fan gushed.
