My boyfriend doesn't want to be with me, but I can't function without him | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: HEARING the words “I don’t love you any more” felt like I was being kicked in the guts.

I’m heartbroken that my boyfriend no longer wants to be with me.

We’ve been arguing a lot lately and taking one another for granted.

We are both 32 and we have a little girl who is 18 months.

Things were getting so bad that he packed a bag and moved into his family’s static caravan.

He’s just had our daughter to stay overnight. I’m trying to put on a brave face, but inside I want to scream and shout. I’ve never been so lonely.

My friends are lovely, but they don’t want to hear me crying about how lost I feel. I can’t function without him.

DEIDRE SAYS: As you have a child, it is certainly worth fighting for your relationship.

Contact your boyfriend and tell him you don’t want this to be a permanent break-up, but you both need some space at the moment.

Think about what is important to you – your family life with him and your little girl – and make a pact that you’ll handle stress and tension in a different way.
