We all love a Colin the Caterpillar cake for special events – whether that’s a birthday, Christmas or Valentine’s Day.
And, with Easter coming up, Marks and Spencer has re-designed the delicious Colin for the occasion.
Now, the supermarket did sell special Easter Colin’s last year, but many customers said the cake “gave them nightmares”.
In 2020, the cylindrical cake was given a bunny face with pastel sprinkles and mini carrot decorations.
But, the rabbit front was rather… disturbing, reports MEN.
Over 12,000 people commented on a snap of the £10 cake on Facebook, with one writing: “Looks like the bunny from Donnie Darko. They should save it for Halloween, it looks demonic.”
“Looks like a thing of nightmares but I bet it tastes good,” added another.
Luckily, the 2021 version of the classic Colin is more family friendly – he now has a cute top hat and Easter egg decorations.
Posting on Facebook M&S said: "Have a Colin-tastic Easter!
