A man has allegedly caught his girlfriend swiping through Tinder profiles when he noticed her phone screen reflected in her pupils.

TikTok user Sam Nunn shared the clip of his partner lying next to him on a bed and wrote: "Thought she had fun baking cookies."

The clip starts as Sam looks into the camera and shakes his head before he flips the camera to show his girlfriend.

He quickly zooms in on her eyes where her pupils reflected the profiles of different people.

The woman appears to be swiping through pictures on the phone.

It amassed more than 840,000 views since he posted it about a week ago.

Some viewers said they felt for Sam, with one saying: "Oh my God this is actually so sad."

"A whole new meaning to 'I saw it in your eyes'," a second penned.

But others tried to defend for the girl and said she was doing for her own good.

One commented: "She wasn't cheating, she was just checking what's out there, guys do the same."

"If you watch the other two videos I think maybe she deserves better," another joked.

Many wondered if it could be a prank after some pointed out the zoom looked unreal.

Sam replied in one comment that it is fake and even updated his profile "it was all a joke".

It came after a woman publicly shamed her boyfriend for allegedly cheating on her.

Sydney Kinsch found the "evidence" from a selfie sent from her then-partner and noticed a female in the sunglasses reflection.

She wrote on Snapchat: "That one time my boyfriend of 4 years Snapchatted me, him cheating on me."
