Macaulay Culkin to legally change middle name to something totally outrageous

Joe Pesci bit Macaulay Culkin's finger so hard during one rehearsal that it left a scar. Mike Janela (@mikejanela) has that and more facts you may not have known about 'Home Alone.'

Instead of saying “Goodnight, Kevin,” Macaulay Culkin appeared on “The Tonight Show” Wednesday and talked about a rather interesting poll that “Home Alone” fans will likely think is the *Joe Pesci voice* silver tuna of polls.

On Culkin’s website, BunnyEars, which he described to Jimmy Fallon as “Goop meets The Onion a little bit,” people can vote on a new middle name for the former kid actor, which he vows to legally adopt.

“I was staring at my passport recently and stuff, and I was looking over my middle name – my current middle name is Carson,” Culkin, 38, told Fallon. “And I thought I should probably spruce up my name a little bit.”

“We’ve narrowed it down to five options,” he added. “I’ve been polling, friends, family, like everything.”

The options, should they be your legal middle name, might have you doing the famous Kevin McCallister “Home Alone” face – at least then someone would be doing it, since Culkin revealed earlier this year he won’t do it anymore. The finalists are: Macaulay Culkin, Shark Week, Keiran (a suggestion from his brother, “Succession” actor Kieran Culkin), TheMcRibIsBack and Publicity Stunt.

Fallon voted for Macaulay Culkin, which would make Culkin’s name Macaulay Macaulay Culkin Culkin. As of Thursday morning, Macaulay Culkin was the clear front-runner, with Kieran as a distant second, followed by TheMcRibIsBack.

Per Culkin’s website, “This poll is open till Christmas Eve so I can wake up to a wonderful present from everyone.”

So, go and vote, ya filthy animals!
