London rooftop bar to host bottomless brunches every weekend from April

It won’t be long before we can sit back and relax with friends in the sunshine with a drink in hand.

After a long winter of lockdown restrictions, the end is finally in sight and one London rooftop bar is putting on a series of bottomless brunches to celebrate things opening up again.

Due to the fact that 2020 was a total write-off, Bar Elba in Waterloo is hosting boozy brunches every weekend from April until September – to make up for lost time.

Standard tickets for the events cost £45 and these offer a cocktail reception and one hour of unlimited prosecco or beer plus brunch, whereas premium tickets get you two hours.

The rooftop bar is a popular choice with Londoners due to its Instagrammable fifth floor city views. It’s also known for its frosé cocktails (a rosé and vermouth strawberry slushie) and sharing jugs of Aperol Spritz.

If the opportunity to get drunk with friends wasn’t enough of a reason to go, Bar Elba’s website also suggests there’s even prizes to win for attendees, including bar tabs.

It reads: ‘We’re giving you the chance to win big this season. Make sure to get your game face on as there will be plenty of opportunities to outshine your fellow attendees and leave this boozy brunch armed with hoards of prizes – from epic bar tabs to summer essentials, Christmas came a few months early this year.’

Due to the rule of six coming back into action in April, you’ll have to pick your five favourite friends to join you – or simply book multiple weekends over the next few months.

If you can’t wait until then, there are some brilliant food and drink restaurant delivery services to try this weekend.
