After performing at the “Mac Miller: A Celebration of Life” benefit concert on Wednesday night, John Mayer released a shirt he designed with graphic artist Jeremy Dean in honor of the late rapper.
The 41-year-old singer shared some close-up images of the merchandise on Instagram, writing, “Extra special t-shirt collab with @deansnuts in honor and remembrance of Mac Miller.”
The top features the words “Swim Forever” on both sleeves and the phrase “To a place where the time don’t end” on the chest along with an illustration of a deep sea diver, yin-yang, and the years of Miller’s birth and death.
The text is meant to be a reference to themes the rapper explored on his song “Perfecto” from his final 2018 album “Swimming.”
The shirt is available for pre-order now for $50 on Mac Miller’s website alongside the rest of his merchandise with all proceeds going to the Mac Miller Circles Fund.
