SHOPPERS will want to know which major supermarkets are open during Queen Elizabeth ll's bank holiday funeral.
It was announced on September 8, 2022 that the country's longest-reigning monarch passed away.
Tesco has over 3,400 stores and opening times can vary across the UK, so find your nearest to check the specific timings with the supermarket's locator tool.
But times might change slightly from the norm over the bank holiday so we've rounded up everything you need to know.
Is Tesco open during Queen Elizabeth's funeral?
Tesco is to close all of its large stores on Monday, September 19 in order for its staff to pay their respects.
The supermarket giant said its express stores will be open until 5pm except for a small number of Express stores in Central London and Windsor that will be open throughout the day.

Are shops closed on the Bank Holiday?
Shops do not have to close, but some may choose to do so out of respect.
Some retailers may choose to operate reduced hours too, as it is a Bank Holiday.
