Inside Kym Marsh’s intricate wedding makeup – including dramatic smoky eyeshadow

Kym Marsh looked every inch the princess in her sweeping Carolina Herrera gown at her October nuptials, as she wed army major Scott Ratcliff.

The newlyweds were treated to a military parade, with Scott’s army buddies drawing their swords into an arch for the couple to walk underneath before the duo shared a romantic kiss at the end.

Adding to the romance of the day was 45 year old Kym’s incredible and intricate, beauty look, which featured a floral updo, glitzy eye makeup and fluttery false eyelashes.

The result of her time spent in the hair and makeup chair before the ceremony can be seen in detail in our exclusive OK! behind-the-scenes snaps.

The former Coronation Street star opted for a high-drama eye look – something not all brides brave, as many experts recommend a natural and soft eyeshadow effect for a bride’s big day.

Kym certainly does prove, though, that a bold eye look can look bridal, as she topped the smoky brown eyeshadow with a glitzy foil-effect cream.

Kym’s makeup also featured lengthy faux lashes, which helped to create the illusion of a cat-eye look. Though the star’s eyes did the talking, she made sure to keep her lips looking natural and glossy with just a wash of pink gloss.

The actress also looks like she was wearing a radiant-finish foundation, with a touch of peachy blush added to the apples of her cheeks. Her eyebrows, which looked like they’d been defined with a pomade, perfectly framed her face.

Though we don’t yet have the details on the exact products that were used to create this makeup masterpiece, you can easily recreate Kym’s look for your own big day.
