Holly Willoughby’s most-complained about Dancing On Ice gowns

It's that time of year where we settle down on Sunday evenings to watch some of our much-loved celebrities take to the ice on ITV's Dancing On Ice.

With the likes of Love Island favourite Liberty Poole, 22, former S Club 7 singer Rachel Stevens, 43, and Ex- Strictly dancer Brendan Cole, 45, we can't wait to see how they all shape up.

Swapping the This Morning sofa for the cold ice is returning presenting duo Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield..

Of course we love them for their energetic relationship with one another, but we mostly can't wait to see Holly show off her glamorous style week after week on the hit show.

Whilst we're always floored with the 40-year-old's incredible style, sadly there are some viewers who often find her outfits to be rather revealing and not appropriate for the show.

In light this, we thought to take a look back at some of the mum-of-three's most complained about outfits.

For the first show of the 2021 series of the hit skating show, Holly made sure to dress to impress in a beautiful soft pink embellished gown by couture designer Dany Atrcache.

After the show it was said that Ofcom received around 350 complaints about Rufus Hound’s political remark, but as well as this they also received some about Holly’s dress which featured a plunging neckline.

One viewer said: "Why does Holly have to flash her boobs every time. It’s a family entertainment show. I just don’t get it. I would think so much more of her if she dressed like a lady and covered them up #dancingonice."

A couple of weeks later we saw the same complains were made about Holly's outfit after stunning most viewers in a black figure-hugging gown by designer Costarellos.

The flawless outfit perfectly showed off the presenters natural curves and even though the top of the dress was overlaid with a black mesh fabric, people still thought this was too 'busty' for the show.

One user replied to complaints about Holly's look with: "All of those idiots who complain to OFCOM should just change channels and get a life. Holly is always elegant and beautiful."

Back in 2020, Holly wowed viewers as she sported a white corset style dress by luxury bridal designer Dana Harel.

Whilst many of us were fans of the fairytale-inspired white tulle gown, some viewers had other opinions.

One commented: "The top looks too much like underwear, have seen Holly in nicer dresses" as a second followed with: "One of ur worst outfits looks like underwear and u have forgotten top layer."

Another outfit which left fans with some choice words in 2020 was this fabulous golden gown by Celia Kritharioti.

Whilst one fan said: "Stunning dress but too low cut for 6pm family show."

As another fired back with: "Wow, I didn't think it was possible to look any more beautiful as you are a stunner."

In 2019, the mum-of-three stunned in a black Versace that let Holly do all the talking as it was plain with a shoulder straps and stylish thigh-high split.

Amongst several other complaints, one Instagram user commented on the picture with: "Really didn't like this dress, too much cleavage for a programme watched by young children."

In our eyes, and many others, we can't couldn't get enough of the star in this dress as showed a different side to her Dancing On Ice wardrobe.

Luckily for us there aren't that many outfits of Holly's that have had complaints.

If this floor-length, pale pink gown by high-end designer Marchesa is anything to go by from the promotional shots for the show, then we know that Holly wont hold back from wowing us each week as the new series gets underway.
