Gwen Stefani Gives Fans Glimpses Of Her Wedding Day Keepsakes

Gwen Stefani is enjoying the honeymoon phase after marrying country star Blake Shelton on July 3, 2021. The intimate ceremony took place at his Oklahoma ranch, with just 40 guests in attendance, as per People. “They purposely kept the wedding simple,” said a source. “They didn’t want a circus. In the end, they just wanted to have this moment with their loved ones.” In fact, the most important element of Stefani and Shelton’s big day was family, which is the top priority in their life together, too.

Despite the low-key event, Stefani looked spectacular in a custom-made, lily-white, silk and tulle Vera Wang gown, with a chapel-length veil sweetly embroidered with Shelton’s name alongside those of her three sons. “Having the wedding at home was a way for their families — and Gwen — to be as comfortable as possible,” the source explained. “Blake wanted the day to be perfect for Gwen. His love for her is so deep.” A five-tier wedding cake, topped with the traditional bride and groom figurines, was devoured by the small crowd.

Now, Stefani is sharing the keepsakes that will ensure she never forgets how special their wedding day was.

Gwen Stefani is preserving her wedding dress for good

According to People, singer Gwen Stefani took to Instagram Stories to share the sweet tokens she’d saved from her wedding day. First, she received a stunning bouquet of white roses from Vera Wang herself, alongside a personal note from the designer, who gushed, “Dearest Gwen, what a pleasure to have shared in your happiness by choosing us to dress you, not once, but twice.” Stefani wore a second dress for the reception that was shorter and more in keeping with the rock star trappings of the celebration. It was also custom-made, lily-white, and done in silk and tulle, but the dress was a strapless mini, more conducive for dancing and celebrating.

Alongside her own gushing response to Wang, the former No Doubt frontwoman also shared a video of one of her dresses, freshly cleaned and preserved in a large white box with the warning, “Fragile. Handle with Care,” inscribed on the side.

Of their magical day, an insider enthused to People, “It was everything they wanted: family, friends, dancing, the beauty and familiarity of the Oklahoma surroundings and lots of love and laughter.” Elsewhere, a source advised ET that it was “a fairy-tale experience,” during which Stefani and Shelton’s love for each other was undeniable. Clearly, she wants to remember it all for as long as possible — and we can’t blame her.
