Eagle-eyed royal fans think the Duchess of Cambridge wore a custom-made version of a stunning dress by Harvey Weinstein’s ex-wife at Prince Charles’ 70th birthday bash.
Kate, 36, wowed in a one-shouldered gown featuring floral detailing on the shoulder, which she paired with dazzling diamond earrings.
No photographs of the Duchess inside the party have been released, but the arrival pictures have led to speculation her dress may have been by US brand Marchesa, the company headed by Georgia Chapman, the ex-wife of movie mogul Weinstein.
While Kate has worn the brand before, she has not previously been seen in the label since July 2017, before the Hollywood sex scandal broke.

Once a red-carpet favourite, Marchesa has become a controversial choice of designer since the Weinstein scandal broke in September last year.
Actresses Scarlett Johansson was forced to defend her decision to wear the brand at the Met Gala earlier this year, as she became the first celebrity to wear the brand since the allegations against the media mogul were made.
Explaining her choice, she said: ‘I wore Marchesa because their clothes make women feel confident and beautiful and it is my pleasure to support a brand created by two incredibly talented and important female designers.’
Priyanka Chopra also defended her choice to wear a strapless white gown by the American label at her bridal shower last month.
Kensington Palace declined to comment.
