The majority of Brits are likely to have dealt with some nightmare neighbours at some point, from nosy OAPs to students having raging house parties, it's never fun.

However, an opportunity to live next door to some of the best homeowners the country has to offer has come up, as you could indeed find yourself sharing a postcode with Prince Charles.

The heir to the British throne and his wife, Duchess Camilla, are very fond of their Cotswolds home, and frequently spend special occasions at their beautiful estate, Highgrove.

Well, for those of you who might have a few million pounds burning a hole in their pockets, a healthy sum of £7.5million could land you a home right next door to the royals.

Based in Gloucestershire, an 11-bedroom property situated right next door to the Princes' country home has just been listed for sale, and it's an incredibly rare opportunity.

The Elmestree House Estate is a beautiful home and sits on a whopping 117 acres of land.

The Grade II-listed property is listed by luxury estate agents Strutt & Parker, who have listed the home at a starting price of £7.5million, asking for offers above that amount.

This is the first time the estate is on the market in over 70 years, so it's likely potential buyers could embark on a bidding war to secure the luxurious home.

After all, the price tag not only buys you a massive home, but it buys the increased likelihood of bumping into royalty on the regular.

Given the enormous sum of money, the Elmestree House Estate doesn't just come with one property, but four.

Whilst the main house boasts six reception rooms and even a ballroom (perfect if they're Strictly fans!), there are also three other homes on its land.

A three-bedroom annexe, a four-bedroom farmhouse and a two-bedroom lodge cottage will also belong to its lucky new owner, meaning they will be sorted if they ever need to host friends and family.

You can also expect a ginormous walled garden around the estate, plenty of farm buildings, a coach house, a stable block and a grand courtyard.

All set amongst stunning rural countryside, the estate is set on parkland so it is incredibly well maintained.

Prince Charles has owned the nearby Highgrove estate for decades, and he and late ex-wife Princess Diana would often visit.

Diana is thought to have frequently walked through the Elmestree House Estate's gardens whilst she and Charles were together, and was once pictured strolling through the grass.
