Colin the Caterpillar is a classic choice when it comes to birthday cakes.
But there’s always that debate about who is lucky enough to get to eat the solid chocolate face at the end.
Well, now M&S is selling bags of them individually so there’s no need to argue.
Colin’s face is made up of white chocolate with milk chocolate detail on his eyes.
The bags are actually filled with mini versions, so smaller than the one on the cake but that just means you can have two, right?
Even the cartoon Colin on the packet says ‘It’s the best part of the cake.’
The new treats were spotted by NewfoodsUK and posted on their social media accounts and people were excited to try them.
One person said: ‘We could’ve done with these years ago to prevent arguments on who gets the face!’
Another added: ‘oooo the best part of the cake! No fighting now.’
Someone else said: ‘omg, dream come true!’
And one person even had a great idea to incorporate more Colin into every day life – using them to make your own versions of the cakes.
Posting on Instagram, she said: ‘Does this mean I can put them on the ends of mini rolls and make baby colins?’
Of course, you can buy packets of mini Colin cakes in store but you could put your own together and decorate them however you like.
Some though actually aren’t fans of the Colin face and disagree with all the excitement.
Tagging a friend, one commenter said: ‘These would be your worst food ever. The bit you always give to me!!’
The bags cost £2 each and are available in M&S stores now.
