Woman slams PrettyLittleThing’s sizing after thigh-split black dress barely covers her modesty

The customer – who goes by the name of Ashley Nicole Teran on Twitter – took to social media to voice her concerns, revealing she would "never" buy "from [PrettyLittleThing] again".

According to PrettyLittleThing's website, the £20 bodycon dress features "an extreme thigh split and a plunging neckline".

But, Ashley was horrified when the split seemed to be a little too extreme.

Sharing images on Twitter, she wrote: "This is the worst purchase I've ever made.

"I only weight 100lbs I'm a size 2… Never buying from here again!"

In the comments, Ashley added: "I’m just disappointed that I waited over two weeks for a shirt, basically lol… I'm in shock."

One user saw the funny side, tweeting in response: "Iv notice that in life everything is a matter of prospective, your dress is now a piece of lingerie lmao [sic]".

While another said: "I still can’t believe it.

"I’ve never had an issue but sometimes their sizes are off."

The popular e-retailer responded to Ashley's comments twice.

"Sorry that you are disappointed Ashley i can totally understand where your coming from please can you DM me with your order number so i can get this sorted for you," they tweeted.

The brand later added: "Hi there, please could you DM us your details. ! Looking forward to your reply so we can get to the bottom of this right away!"

Last month, we told you about the PrettyLittleThing shopper who claims she was left looking like a "drag queen gone wrong" when a gold Lauren Goodger jumpsuit turned out to be completely see-through.

Fabulous Online has contacted PrettyLittleThing for comment.

Earlier this week, we told you Topshop launches a £35 dress version of its best-selling silk skirts – and it comes in five colours.

We also revealed you can buy heated mittens for £7 which you can charge up on the go and get five stars on Amazon.

And we showed you ASOS has a try-before-you-buy service that will help you find the perfect Christmas party dress WITHOUT paying up front.
