Woman slammed for wearing a very bridal-looking dress to a wedding as people say it's totally inappropriate | The Sun

EVERYONE knows you shouldn't wear white to a wedding unless you're the bride.

But one guest didn't get the memo and left people stunned when she showed up in a very bridal-looking gown.

Of course, finding a dress to wear to a wedding, even as a guest, can be tricky.

But there are usually loads of options that will look chic and won't break the bank.

So when one woman found a dress on Shein she knew it would be perfect for her friend's big day.

The only problem is that the dress looks exactly like a wedding gown.

The floor-length, lace dress left people in disbelief, as some say it was totally inappropriate to wear.

Even it was a gay wedding, so there wasn't actually a bride there at all, people weren't convinced it was ok to wear the dress.

The picture was shared on Reddit alongside the caption: "Gay wedding, but the only guest not in black."

In the snap, the woman poses with her date in the swanky dress holding a glass of champagne.

"The wedding was absolutely stunning. Like picture perfect, very formal and every single person is in black. Except for her, in that cheap tacky dress," the user jabbed.

Users pointed out that the dress, which cost £51, is also available in black, meaning that the woman could've matched the other guests in the same dress.

"Yeah, she messed up. That black version is gorgeous," one person commented.

A second agreed: "Honestly that black one was soo much better than the white one.

"I bet she thought the same but still didn’t care to stand out."

And another wrote: "That's so rude and disrespectful tbh. Its also an ugly dress, lose lose tbh."
