Woman praised for making a DIY Christmas tree for just £10 – and it’s a total space-saver too | The Sun

YOU'D be hard pushed to find someone who doesn't love seeing a Christmas tree in the corner of the room in the run up to the holidays.

But a massive downside of the festive favourite is just how much room it takes up – not ideal if the room you want to put it in is on the small side.

So one woman has been praised for sharing a clever hack to make your own Christmas tree for a fraction of the cost, and using a fraction of the space.

Eniko took to her My Dark Home page on TikTok to post a video showing herself putting up the "tree".

In the clip, she strung Christmas lights from one side of the wall to the other – creating the outline of a tree.

"DIY light Christmas tree that costs less than £10," she captioned her video.

In response to another comment, Eniko revealed that she used "little nails" to attach the lights to the wall.

But someone else suggested using "little stick on hooks" so that there's no damage to the wall.

"Use Christmas parcel tags as hanging baubles etc," another person wrote.
