After Meghan Markle joined the royal family last May following a whirlwind romance with Prince Harry, the younger royals were dubbed the ‘Fab Four’.
But it wasn’t long before whispers of a rift between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle emerged.
Numerous programmes have explored the so-called falling out, but an interview has emerged where Prince William confirms the four disagree with one another.
Being interviewed by Tina Daheley as they made their first official appearance as a four in February last year, the quad sat down for the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum.
The presenter asked the royals: “Working together as family, do you ever have disagreements about things?”
Dad-of-three Prince William was the first to respond, saying: “Oh, yes.”
But dad-to-be Prince Harry quickly adds they’re “healthy disagreements”.
When pressed how they resolved the last argument, the Duke of Sussex says it’s hard to pinpoint, as “they come so thick and fast”.
To which Prince William chips in: “Is it resolved? We don’t know.”
Prince Harry, who is expecting his first child with Meghan Markle in April, adds: “I think it's really good, we have got four different personalities and we’ve all got that same passion to want to make a difference.
“But different opinions. And I think those opinions work really, really well.
“Working as a family does have its challenges, of course it does.
“The fact that everybody is laughing means they know exactly what it's like.”
And with no splits on the horizon in any camp, he added: “We are stuck together for the rest of our lives.”
After both Princes William and Harry married and settled down, the foursome seemed to embody the next generation of the royal family.
But rumours soon began to emerge of a spat between The Duchess of Cambridge and The Duchess of Sussex, which was believed to be fracturing the relationship between the princes.
Everyone from the Queen to Prince Charles is said to have got involved trying to remedy the feud between the women, amid talk of the princes creating a formal division between their estates.
Prince Harry will soon be leaving Kensington Palace, where Prince William and Kate Middleton live, as he and Meghan Markle settle down in Frogmore Cottage to raise Baby Sussex.
