People are totally shocked at my epic catfish transformation – but everyone is saying the same strange thing | The Sun

LOOKING good can take a lot of work, with many people spending hours sitting in front of a mirror doing their hair and make-up.

But thanks to a popular TikTok trend, we now know we’re not alone in our accidental catfishing.

That's right, women are taking to the social media platform to share their most glamorous selfies, in comparison to how they look without the glam, in the new viral ‘Catfish challenge’.

One woman, named Phoebe, known on TikTok as @phoebebrad444, who has 14.6k followers and 1.4million likes, took to the video sharing platform to reveal her catfish challenge.

We think Phoebe looks fabulous with and without her make-up but many are left stunned at her transformation.

At the start of the clip, we see Phoebe with her hair scraped back – she has a half head of blonde hair and the other half is brown.

The bare-faced beauty shows off her naturally-clear skin as she mimes to Paramore’s hit song ‘All I Wanted’.

Seconds later, after Phoebe moves the camera close to her face, she then moves the camera away from her face, showing off her completed make-up look.

Her make-up looks flawless and is complete with a neat nose contour, faux freckles and a set of fluttery fake eyelashes.

She said: “For everyone asking, the lashes are beauty1999 lashes in style Daisy”.

TikTok users were left open-mouthed at Phoebe’s make-up skills and took to the comments to express this.

One person said: “STUNNING”.

Another added: “Seriously the best eyebrows I’ve ever seen” to which Phoebe confirmed “Eyebrow lamination kits”.

A third commented: “Beautiful”.

However, although many TikTok users took the time to compliment Phoebe on her make-up skills, lots of other people were commenting saying that her make-up screamed that she was British.

One user noted: “Why was her being British the first thing in my mind?” to which Phoebe replied “I really do think I reached the wrong side of the world. I don’t like it”.

A second agreed: “Came to comment if she’s British and it was the first comment I saw” to which Phoebe responded “I’m not y’all!”
