On a set draped in shiny silver foil, the design duo of Mikio Sakabe and Shueh Jen-Fang showed a collection that played with traditional masculine and feminine norms while also incorporating some of their signature quirkiness.

The look: Long dresses with asymmetrical draping and blouses printed with tiny florals were contrasted with new takes on classic tailored blazers, coats and trousers. The designers also played with volume and texture, layering thigh-length puffer coats with delicate, sometimes sheer, dresses.

Standout pieces: Shrunken pantsuits consisted of short, boxy jackets with wide, slouching shoulders and straight, cropped trousers for silhouettes that looked comfortable but professional. Long checked blazers paired with tiny floral miniskirts gave a borrowed-from-the-boys vibe, while a voluminous dress in a plastic-like black fabric with asymmetric frills was a nod to the designers’ less conventional roots.
