I’m a lash technician and we can always tell when you don’t wash your face, the dirt we see that you don’t is disgusting | The Sun

A LASH technician has urged clients not to forget to wash their faces, because their lashes get so filthy.

The PeaceLash account took to TikTok to share a video of one of her customers who had clearly forgotten to wash, and the amount of dirt that was clearly visible on the lashes.

"Lash clients, don’t forget to wash," she wrote over the clip.

"When we say your lashes are dirty – this is what we see."

In the video, she was seen brushing the lashes with a spoolie brush, with a layer of yellow-looking crumbs seen on the eyelid's lash line.

She captioned it: "As a client, you can’t see what we see. Here’s why we always preach washing."

However, in the comments section, people insisted that while they do wash their lashes regularly, they still end up with build up.

"I wash mine everyday and they still have so much build up," one wrote.

"My lash tech said i clean them properly and i have a lash cleanser."

"Try putting the cleanser onto the lash brush and then brush the cleanser through your lashes with it in the shower," the poster replied.
