“You should really also get yourself a UV protector through the day.

"You can get some products that double up, so you can get a leave-in that has a UV filter in it.

“If you are a water baby on holiday, make sure you wet your hair with clean water before you jump in the pool or in the sea.

“This is because our hair is like a sponge so it’s going to absorb any of the water that we put onto it, so it’s better for it to absorb the clean water, than the chlorinated or sea water.

“When you’re getting out of the pool, it’s really tempting to just tie your hair up wet, but just remember that our hair is most fragile when it’s wet, so you want to avoid tying it up.

“Finally, if you can get a hat, that is going to be the best protection you can get for your hair.”
