I quit my 9-5 & now rake in six-number figures with ASOS & Selfridges – you can start with just 1p | The Sun
BACK in 2017, Isabelle White was working a typical 9-5 as a marketing manager for a logistics company.
But a failed and emotionally taxing relationship saw the young woman, now 33, quit the dull role – and now, Isabelle runs a multi-million business.
The business, Image Gang, has since catapulted into a global success story, winning the Londoner over a whopping 82k followers on Instagram and thousands of happy customers all over the world.
Recently, almost six years after the launch, the trendy jewellery business also hit another milestone, as Isabelle's products were now stocked both on ASOS and at Selfridges.
''Both were certainly a dream come true,'' Isabelle said.
''Selfridges actually DMd me on Instagram and ASOS I sent a lookbook to a friend of a friend who forwarded it to the right department and they got in touch to book a meeting with me.''

But things, Isabelle revealed in an exclusive interview with Fabulous, haven't always been this easy.
Asked what made her rake the leap of faith and quit the previous job, the 33-year-old said: ''I was there for two years and I then found out my grandmother had terminal breast cancer.
''My mum had died when I was 15 and my grandad when I was 23 so she was the only family I had.''
This is the exact moment, Isabelle recalled, she decided to start Image Gang.

''I had no safety net anymore. It was all one me.''
However, the hurdles and setbacks, she said, were a source of motivation, continuously pushing her forward.
''My friends have been my source of strength throughout this though and there is no way I could of done this without them.''
There's no such thing as overnight success.''
But in a world where everyone seems to be running a side hustle and promising a lucrative income by becoming an affiliate for the big brands, Isabelle reminded it's not as easy.
''There's no such thing as overnight success and I am always sceptical of people claiming to offer that.
''That's why I created Mind Your Business as I felt like there was a need for someone to start being transparent about what it takes.''
As well as sharing all the ins and outs of running a brand, Isabelle's latest venture provides people with ''practical and realistic advice, rather then just 'joining an affiliate programme' ''.
Since launched just a few weeks ago, the online course has already attracted close to a hundred students.
This will become home of 1-to-1 mentor sessions, a community group on WhatsApp, as well as an in-depth resource library, to name a few.
In the meantime, the successful entrepreneur is also a vocal voice on social media, providing people with tips on how to ''get the ball rolling''.
And according to Isabelle, who has also appeared on BBC, you can push things in the right direction with just 1p.
The main things to prioritise, she explained in a video, is registering the domain name and working on creating social media accounts.
''Domain names can be purchased from GoDaddy from 1p, so get that done.
''Then you can also set up a free Gmail account and you can have your email address, so you can start contacting people if you need to.''
Just as vital, she insisted, it making the most of TikTok – after all, this platform is home to one billion active users.
''This is really important – start filming and documenting everything, and posting it on TikTok.
''This journey and this story is all a part of your brand – and this is a great way to start building a community and something people can buy into before you even have a product.''
Whilst working on your online presence, Isabelle also advised to post a link in your bio page, where fans could sign up for the latest updates.
''People can leave their email address and that means when you are ready to launch and you've got the money for your product you're not launching to crickets.''
Finally, Isabelle noted, it's also worthwhile to reach out to someone who's a year or two ahead in the journey.
''I would wanna see if they offer a mentorship or whether they would be up for grabbing a coffee, doing a quick Zoom.
''Anything like that, just a little conversation just so you could pick their brain and maybe just get a little insight from them.''

Speaking of the future of her company, Isabelle said: ''Personally, I have achieved everything I could ever imagine for Image Gang.
''I would now love to pass the baton on to someone who wants to learn the ropes in running a business and can bring new life to Image Gang.''
Isabelle’s top tips for launching your business
- Just start. My favourite saying is: ''As you walk, the path appears.''
- You need to want it for yourself and believe in yourself. The relationship you have with yourself will be instrumental to your success.
- The solution-focused. You will come across more obstacles than you can imagine, but there is always a solution you just have to stay focused and be willing to think outside the box.
- Community is key. Building a strong brand identity with clear values that people can identify with is essential in today's crowded market.
