I gave my bland kitchen a gorgeous grey makeover using a £12 buy from B&M – people are shocked at how good it looks | The Sun

A BUDGET-LOVING couple transformed their kitchen with a £12 product and everyone’s stunned by the result.

Homeowners Aimee and Jake used a lick of classy grey paint and some £12 flooring from B&M to achieve a luxe new look and people can’t believe it’s so cheap.

The savvy pair have created a TikTok channel – thebrookwoodway – to share updates as they decorate their first home together.

In a recent clip, the couple showed off their basic kitchen with black tiled floor before it transformed into a fabulous new space.

Jake is seen at the door of the room, which features cream walls, white cupboards and a small breakfast bar.

Text reads: “Watch us transform our kitchen floor for £150.”

The camera pans across their epic purchase from B&M – a pack of seven self-adhesive floor planks by KingMann.

The fuss-free flooring comes in grey wood effect, and the couple bought 13 packs to cover their entire kitchen floor.

Aimee takes the camera and films DIY pro Jake fitting the floor strips carefully over the top of the floor tiles.

“Such good quality,” writes Aimee, holding up a strip to the camera.

The job gets done within hours and they couldn’t wait to show off the result.

Viewers watch as the camera pans around the kitchen, displaying the decadent effect.

The couple also show off their marble-topped dining table with suede-effect chairs and a beautiful matte grey panelled wall.

They continue the look with marble-look worktops and fabulous bar stools from Amazon.

Other small details can be spotted at the end of the clip.

Aimee and Jake replaced their silver cupboard handles with bright gold alternatives and a giant wall clock completes the look.

The pair’s efforts haven’t gone unnoticed by their TikTok followers.

One user gushed: “Where’s your dinner table from?”

Aimee and Jake answered: “The Range.”
