Ulrika Jonsson has today defended herself over her “slap and tickle” with Sven-Goran Eriksson.
The presenter, 55, and the then-England football manager, 75, were linked back in 2002, when he was dating lawyer Nancy Dell’Olio, 61.
The pair enjoed a brief four-month romance and today she stated: “I wasn’t cheating on anyone.”
Speaking in her latest column, Ulrika suggested Nancy wrongly “lashed out” at her.
She compared the latter’s reaction to that of Amir Khan’s wife Faryal Makhdoom.

The boxer’s spouse is said to have launched a furious rant at someone linked to her husband.
In an audio recording heard by The Sun, Faryal, 32, vents: “If you ever contact Amir again, I will slit your f****** throat.”
Writing in The Sun, Ulrika branded her reaction a “low blow”, in a piece entitled: Faryal, aim your jabs at Amir… not other women.
The mother-of-four stated: “Faryal’s reaction reminds me so much of a certain Nancy Dell’Olio. Remember her? She was supposedly in a relationship with former England football manager Sven-Goran Eriksson.”

She continued: “When it emerged that I’d had a bit of slap and tickle with the wee man, she lashed out at me.
“So, despite the fact I wasn’t cheating on anyone, but her supposed boyfriend was, she chose to blame me.”
Ulrika then quipped: “That’s the sisterhood alive and kicking for you, right there.”
Lawyer Nancy and Sven met back in 1998 and officially came to an end in 2007, after they reconciled following his affair with Ulrika.
She previously hit out at the Swedish-British TV star, after she slammed Sven’s love-making.
Nancy fired back, branding the remark “cheap”: “It was boring because Sven was having sex with her to prove something to himself.
“He was not really there, if you know what I mean.”
Meanwhile, Ukrika made her feelings towards Faryal clear: “I’m not suggesting that Faryal should have to remain dignified while her name and marriage are being dragged through the mud by a weak husband.
“But taking out her anger and frustration on women who he can’t resist is delivering low blows.”
