Good Morning Britain host Ranvir Singh and Giovanni Pernice have been getting Strictly Come Dancing 2020 viewers – as well as head judge Shirley Ballas – hot under the collar with their passionate performances this season. The dancing duo have laughed off any romance rumours that come their way, however Motsi Mabuse said they “connect in such a special way”.
The Strictly judge said that having a connection on the dance floor is one of the most important factors when dancing.
The 39-year-old Latin dancer said Ranvir and Giovanni certainly have that “connection” and compliment each other when they perform.
The mum-of-one made her comments while speaking to Zoe Ball on spin off show It Takes Two.
She told the host that the professional dancer made the TV presenter look “divine” on the dance floor.
Talking about the couple, Motsi commented: “For me, to connect is the most important thing on the dance floor, and I think they connect in such a special way.
“They connect musically, they connect lead and follow, and they have found a space where they can grow in the ballroom dances.”(sic)
As their performance from Saturday night played on the television screen behind them, she went on to say they encompassed the “essence” of ballroom dancing.
Motsi said: “I feel like when we watch them we are really watching the essence of ballroom dancing, because both of them compliment each other.
“She makes him look like a hunk.
“Not that he needs any help with that, but she makes him look even better,” Zoe interjected.
“And she looks divine, like she’s the queen of every dance that she puts on the dance floor,” Motsi gushed.
Former contestant Zoe said the 43-year-old GMB star had surprised everyone with her dancing skills.

In the last instalment of the ballroom dancing show, Ranvir and Giovanni performed a beautiful American Smooth routine to I Say A Little Prayer by Aretha Franklin.
They scored 24 points for the judges placing them in joint-fourth position.
Thankfully, they escaped the dreaded dance off and have made it through to the next round of the competition – the quarter finals.
Viewers saw Clara Ammfo and Aljaž Škorjanec become the sixth couple to be eliminated.
Tonight, the TV star and 30-year-old dancer will perform a Viennese Waltz to She Used To Be Mine from Waitress for Musicals Week.
Other theatre shows featuring in the special episode include The Phantom Of The Opera, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie and Chitty Bang Bang.
Strictly Come Dancing continues tonight at 7.25pm and tomorrow at 7.30pm on BBC One, hosted by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.
