Friends, exes, loved ones, fans and even acquaintances are rushing to Pete Davidson‘s side after his scary suicidal breakdown. The latest? Congressman-elect Dan Crenshaw!
During a talk with KPRC2 Houston, the politician said he reached out and spoke to Davidson, 25, about his current mental state. Crenshaw, 34, explained that while he doesn’t know the comedian too well, it was “pretty devastating” to learn about his horrific Instagram message.
RadarOnline.com readers know Davidson shared and then deleted a post in which he said he didn’t “want to be on this earth anymore” and was not sure how much longer he would last.

The scary message prompted his ex, Ariana Grande, to attempt to visit him on the Saturday Night Live set — though he refused to see her.
“I talked to him personally [Sunday] and talked to him a little bit about it. We don’t go back very far, we’re not good friends, but I think he appreciated hearing from me,” said Crenshaw.
Radar readers recall that this November, Davidson made a distasteful joke abut the former Navy SEAL’s missing eye (which he lost while serving in Afghanistan in 2012.) Eventually though, he apologized, and Crenshaw had no hard feelings. He even went out of his way to help the young comedian after his apparent meltdown.

“You don’t want to see someone in that position to the point where they’re putting out a cry for help on social media. That’s not a good place to be in,” he said.
“What I told him was this: Everyone has a purpose in this world. God put you here for a reason, but it is your job to find that purpose. You should live that way, you should live that way seeking out that purpose, not expecting it to be given to you by anybody else. Know that you have value and do more good for people than you realize for people,” continued the politician. “Especially a guy like that: he makes people laugh, sometimes he makes people mad, but he also makes people laugh a lot and that’s what we talked about. It was a good conversation.”
Pete Davidson has not given fans updates on his health since his shocking Instagram message, though sources say he’s been missing quite a lot of SNL rehearsals and is clearly in a dark place.
