The reality TV winner was 19-years-old when she married Abdul in an arranged marriage in 2004, with the pair meeting only once before.
Recalling their first meeting during an appearance on Loose Women, Nadiya previously said: "I didn’t see him very well but my sisters did and they went downstairs and said ‘oh my god he’s so good looking but he’s got an enormous butt.’"
She continued: "So now when I met him for the first time, the first thing I wanted to look at was his butt."
Nadiya previously told the Mirror she and her husband were like chalk and cheese but ‘we meet in the middle.
" We’ve become one of those couples who finish each other’s sentences. Arranged marriages get a bad reputation, people think they don’t work. I’ve seen them break down, but I’ve seen the same amount of non-arranged marriages break down – it’s down to the people. We were lucky," she said.
