Lauren Goodger heartbroken as newborn daughter dies shortly after TOWIE star gave birth

Lauren Goodger has shared the devastating news that her newborn daughter died on Friday.

The former TOWIE star posted on Instagram to tell fans that Lorena, her second child with Charles Drury, sadly passed away.

Alongside a picture of Lorena's tiny hand in hers, Lauren wrote: "She was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister Larose.

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar."

She added: "I am broken. I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

The reality star then asked for privacy during this difficult time, adding: "We have a lot of grieving to do and funeral organising that I just need this time & with my baby girl Larose she is my rock that’s getting me through this or I wouldn’t survive."

Heartbreakingly writing that she will "never ever get over this" Lauren then vowed to "learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart".

"She will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My [angel] Lorena I love you so much."

Lorena was little sister to Larose, who is just 11 months old.

Many famous faces and fans soon shared their condolences in the comments of Lauren's Instagram post.

Her partner Charles wrote: "She will always be with us."

Love Island's Malin Andersson, whose own daughter Consy died when she was just four weeks old in January 2019, wrote: "Sending you so much love strength and positive energy.

"Here if you ever need to talk. Take your time.. you are so loved."

"Sending you love, Lauren," wrote fellow TOWIE star Amy Childs, as Charlotte Crosby wrote: "I'm devastated," alongside a string of crying emojis.
