Katie Salmon has branded people who have to work to pay their bills "bitter" in an extraordinary rant.
The former Love Island star, who describes herself as a "social media influencer / tv personality" on Twitter , has suggested that people who have to work ‘normal’ jobs don’t like to see people like her "living the good life".
The 23-year-old, who appeared on the ITV2 dating show in 2016, said: "Because most people work so many hours / depressed tired to pay bills to live in a house they never in. To drive a car to work and back. We get paid to live life to a degree. Bitter unhappy people don’t like to see people live that good life # unfortunately"
She was replying to a tweet that read: "I really don’t understand why people are so offended by influencers, it’s actually mad"
Katie also responded to a tweet from someone who said it’s awful when people say they hope influencers lose their jobs.
The person wrote: "Anyone who tweets about influencers and how it would be hilarious if Instagram wasn’t there one day and we all lost our jobs, you’re actually a pathetic excuse for a human, gotta be a pretty shocking person to wish that on other people."
And Katie said: "social media has expanded EVERYONES business. No social media? Most people’s business would take a loss. If we lost all satellites tv music actors musicians wouldn’t have a job. If everyone looses the main point of advertising for their business nobody would have a job. OBV"
Earlier this week, Katie seemingly ignored a lifetime ban from Cheltenham Festival.
Katie was reportedly banned indefinitely from the horse racing event back in 2016, after she and co-star Jessica Hayes flashed their boobs at a photographer.
The reality babe headed off to the festival again on Tuesday, and she didn’t seem worried about standing out in the crowd.
Katie turned up in a bright orange skirt and dramatic crop top that revealed her super flat stomach and some serious underboob.
Her hooded, long-sleeved top featured a bow design on the front, which only drew the eye towards her under-cleavage even more.
Katie completed her eye-popping outfit with boots in a matching colour.
She suggested she’d be on her best behaviour this year as she tweeted: "Cheltenham is back. And so am I," alongside two angel emojis.
It’s believed there’s a three-year waiting period before a ban can be appealed, meaning Katie could have now had it overturned.
