Newly-engaged couple Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s super sweet connection actually goes back 20 YEARS.
Almost two decades before he asked her to be his wife, the former New York Yankees player had another very important question for J-Lo – "Can I have your autograph?"
Back in October, A-Rod revealed that he’d been a fan of his wife-to-be for a very long time.
Sharing an old picture she’d signed and personalised for him, he wrote: "#TBT to almost 20 years ago when a big time global pop superstar signed a pic for a young ball player #lifecanbeafunnythingsometimes #pictureperfect #keepsake #jlo"
He was just 23 when he approached her to ask for the signed picture.
Ageless J-Lo looks basically the same in the sexy snap as she does now.
Baseball star A-Rod popped the question over the weekend, announcing the news by posting a picture of the giant ring on her finger alongside the words "She said yes".
The singer, 49, also shared the picture with a string of heart emojis.
She and Alex, 43, started dating in early 2017.
J-Lo has been married three times before, to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony, with whom she shares twins Max and Emme.
Speaking previously about her beau in an interview with Red magazine she explained: "Both Alex and I are Latino. We are both self-made. He was always the hardest working baseball player that was – me, the same.
"We have that in common. We have the same work ethic. We also appreciate and know that coming from nothing, we always want to try to help and give back and teach our kids that."
She added: "I feel like I’m in my second, third, or fourth act. I feel like I’ve lived several lifetimes already and I’ve had to figure myself out along the way, work out why I felt a certain way, or got into relationships that didn’t serve me.
"And I finally realised, ‘It’s me. It’s all me. I got to fix some stuff. I need to understand my own worth and value’."
