James Argent says he’s still in ‘regular therapy’ as he urges fans to get help

James Argenthas revealed that he receives “regular therapy”, and has encouraged others to do the same.

James, who’s recentlyshed an impressive 13 stone, took to Instagram on Monday 10 January to urge his 821,000 followers to not “suffer in silence”.

The TOWIE star has collaborated with rehab centre Verve Health after revealing in 2020 that he was battling a cocaine addiction.

Almost two years on from opening up about his struggles, James still receives support from Verve.

James said in a social media video: “Hi everyone. I hope you had a fantastic Christmas and you’ll go on to have a great New Year. However, this time, especially of suffering addicts, the festive season can be really really tough."

“I know because I’ve been there myself and, even to this day, I’m still in regular talks, regular therapy, counselling, aftercare with the guys at Verve Health.”

He continued: “They’ve really helped me and they can help yourselves. Whether you’re an addict yourself that’s really struggling, or whether you’re a friend of an addict or a family member, there is help out there. You don’t have to suffer in silence.”

James then proceeded to share Verve Health’s contact details with his followers so that they can contact the centre if they’re in need of support.

In the comments section of the video, the 34 year old wrote: “The most important step is the first step.”

Lydia Bright’s mum Debbie then replied with a string of clapping-hand emojis.

Debbie’s comment comes after a source told OK! that former flamesJames and Lydia were “always meant to be together”.

They said: “Lydia and James have always got on, there's been the Gemma Collins phase but he and Lydia were always meant to be together.

"There is such a deep love there and even though he let Lydia down, they've realised it was his demons and he's faced up to that."
