Rapper Eminem sold more albums than any other artists in 2018.
According to Buzz Angle Music‘s 2018 year-end report, Eminem sold more albums than any other artist in 2018, moving 755,027 units in album sales. Kamikaze was the highest selling album of the year.
BTS came in second with 603,307 albums, while country music star Chris Stapleton moved 577,287 albums. Metallica came in fourth with 539,861 albums, and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper rounded out the top 5.
Kamikaze, Eminem’s eleventh studio album, earned 373,067 sales, while nearly 400,000 of his album units are due to his back catalog. Revival, which was released in December 2017, would have chipped in some major sales numbers for the artist this year
The top album by sales was The Greatest Showman, which recorded 1.27 million sales. Lady Gaga and Cooper’s A Star is Born earned 525,736 sales.
Eminem also was the fourth highest streamed artists this year. Drake topped the list, while Post Malone and XXXTENTACION held the second and third spots, respectively. Eminem earned more than 2.5 billion on-demand audio streams throughout 2018, with Kamikaze drawing 760 million streams.
