Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson carries a loaded basket out of Tesco after stocking up

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson was seen with his wife Emma Gleave as they headed out for a supermarket run.

The former I'm A Celebrity…. Get Me Out Of Here! contestant, whose car has been written off after a woman drove straight into the parked vehicle, was casually clad for the outing.

Simon opted for a light summer jacket and denim knee-length shorts that he teamed with comfortable Nike trainers and a matching baseball cap.

The 47 year old appeared to be in great spirits as he was seen chatting away on a phone call while his other half Emma placed a shopping basket – which are not usually allowed out of the shop – of their snacks on the ground.

The pair stocked up on yummy snacks such as popcorn, Nutella, Dr Pepper, Muller Corner and Petits Filous.

Emma also cut a casual figure in a comfortable black hoodie and matching jogging bottoms.

Her long blonde locks were pulled up into a high bun, and she opted for minimal make-up.

Simon recently opened up about his wife Emma's eleventh miscarriage and the heartbreak the couple has faced in their journey to parenthood.

The couple share three sons – Alfie, 14, Harry, 12, and Henry, six but the Corrie star opened up about the toll the miscarriages had had on the couple.

In an interview on The Likely Dads podcast, Simon said: "We lost 11 along the way. It was horrific. The first one was 21 weeks.

"When Emma lost Georgia, she was 21 weeks, and what had happened was Emma's tubes were twisted, but Georgia stayed alive long enough to untwist the tubes which they said it was amazing how she survived all that and then went."

"But that paved the way for Alfie, you see, so we always think of her as like an angel.

"But then we lost loads along the way. I think it's because Emma can't carry girls for some reason."

Emma had suffered a ruptured ectopic pregnancy back in 2017, which left Simon rushing her to the hospital in the middle of the night after she was experiencing excruciating stomach pains.

Upon arriving at the hospital, the couple was told the upsetting news, and she was given emergency surgery.

The horrifying ordeal left the couple wanting to raise awareness of ectopic pregnancies, as Emma revealed she didn't know much about it at all prior to experiencing it.
