Coleen Rooney is “not happy” with Rebekah Vardy after she posted a cryptic message on social media which appeared to take aim at her, a source has told OK! .

The WAGs, who are currently locked in a High Court libel case, appeared to butt heads once again when Rebekah, 39, shared a message on Instagram that read: “Maybe I should start doing fake coffee run pics.”

The post seemed to be accusing Coleen, who recently shared photos of sons Kai and Klay's bleached hair after they begged for the “Phil Foden” cut, of setting up pap shots during coffee shop runs – a claim that Coleen appears to believe was aimed at her after.

Addressing the post, Coleen wrote to her 1.2 million followers on Tuesday morning: "AS IF!!!" alongside a coffee, running and crying with laughter face emojis.

And now, a source has told how the 35 year old believes Rebekah is “trying to make digs” amid their ongoing court battle.

“Coleen is not happy with Rebekah’s comment,” the source explained to OK!.

“She feels like it’s the pot calling the kettle black. Coleen is sick of it. She feels like Rebekah is trying to dish any dirt she can because her ship is sinking in court.”

The source continued: “Rebekah has opened a can of worms. Coleen thinks she should be keeping her head down and doing her homework with the court case instead of trying to make digs at Coleen.

“She feels like she’s just trying to get a bite out of her and trying to get some headlines.”

It comes amid their High Court libel case after Coleen infamously accused Becky’s Instagram account of "leaking false stories" about her to the press in a social media post in October 2019.

Jamie Vardy's wife has vehemently denied the claims and has taken her fellow WAG to court in an attempt to sue her for libel.

Most recently, Coleen’s team claimed a victory as a judge ruled largely in her favour in the latest stage of the court case.

Mrs Justice Steyn rejected Rebekah's lawyers' bid to issue a summary judgement on one part of Coleen's defence.

However, Rebekah has been successful in her request to have parts of Coleen’s defence thrown out of court.

Mrs Justice Steyn dismissed a claim by Wayne Rooney's spouse Coleen that Rebekah showed "publicity seeking behaviour" as she sat behind her in someone else's seat during the 2016 Euro football tournament.
