Countdown icon Carol Vorderman, 60, has been warned not to “overdo it” by some of her 456,000 Twitter followers after she admitted she was too exhausted to move. The presenter has been putting all her energy into a new fitness regimen, but called for help in a video today after back-to-back workouts left her struggling.
She began by sharing a video of herself lying down on her sofa at home after completing an 11 mile walk for the second day running.
Carol admitted in the clip: “I am knackered. I’ve done about 11 miles, I did about the same yesterday.
“And I’ve got about five minutes before my weights session with Gus [her personal trainer].
“Help!” The star then exclaimed.

Carol went on to update her fans on her progress after training with weights for an hour.
The BBC Radio Wales host divulged while crawling across her living room floor: “I’m so knackered, I’m having to crawl.
“But, I did those, deadlifts.”
Carol then picked up a dumbbell and groaned in pain, as she explained: “And I did, oh man!
“Things with those and the kettlebells and all of that and started using that.
“I can’t move,” the star admitted, as she saw the funny side of the situation.
Carol penned alongside her video: “And now after another 11 Miles today and an hour of weights with our Gus….I can’t actually move [laughing face emoji].”
Fans took to the comments section of Carol’s posts to share their worries for her, as they encouraged her to take it easy if she was in pain.

One person penned: “Put your feet up, with a glass of wine or snacks.”
Another warned: “Exercise moderately please.”
A third fan said: “Do you think you are overdoing it a bit?”
A fourth added: “You ok there!”
A fifth replied: “Don’t b****y kill yourself!! There are still adventures to be had real soon.”
“Well done! Don’t over do things!” Another fan agreed.
Despite her exhaustion, Carol also admitted her fitness routine is already making a difference to her physique.
She said earlier on today: “So I’m going to be very annoying doing side butt videos all week.
“I’ve been doing lots of walking. I did 10 miles yesterday and lots of weights.”
“Look, I’ve got biceps now,” the mathematician mused, as she panned the camera to showcase her arm muscles.
