Jasmine Harman, 44, who has been new filming episodes for A Place In The Sun in Cyprus, has taken the opportunity to reflect on what she needs to prioritise as she opened up about not knowing what is around the corner. The Channel 4 personality encouraged her Instagram followers to “be grateful” and “appreciate” what they have.

Some events this week have really made me think.

Jasmine told her 49,000 followers how she plans to make “memories” with her two young children, Albion and Joy, on their last day in Cyprus.

Alongside a selfie with her two kids in a swimming pool, she discussed: “Well folks! It’s my 1100th post!!

“Some of you may know that every 100 posts I like to say something rather more important than what I had for lunch or another stunning view or what I’m wearing… after all social media is fun but can (and should) also be meaningful!”

The mother-of-two went on to say: “Some events this week have really made me think hard about my priorities.

“None of us know what is around the corner, and as I often say to my Househunters, we should be making the most of every day, doing what makes us happy with the people we love.

“After all, what could be more important than happiness and loved ones?,” she asked.

“So I’m enjoying my last day off in Cyprus with my children and making memories.

“The greatest gift we can give each other is our time.”

Jasmine concluded her post by writing: “Value time together. Appreciate what we have. Be grateful for the lessons life gives us. Love & Laugh. Xxx #family #familetime #love #laugh #qualitytime #grateful #gratitude #dayoff #mumlife.”

Fans were quick to express their thoughts over her revelation in the comments section.

One person said: “So true Jasmine. Just back from spending a week in Cyprus with my son, his wife and 2 year old grandson – super memories!”

Another shared: “Wise words indeed!,” followed by a love heart emoji.

It comes after Jasmine’s fellow presenter and pal Laura Hamilton opened up about the chemistry between their co-stars.

After the former Dancing On Ice star was asked whether there is any rivalry between the hosts, she replied: “It never gets heated. It’s always friendly banter.

“I sent everyone a message recently on our WhatsApp group to see how everyone is doing.”

The presenter proceeded to tell Metro.co.uk: “We’re like a big family and we’re all in the same boat, particularly Jasmine [Harman] and I, as we both have two young children who have travelled all over with us since they were little.”

Jasmine and Laura present the hit daytime programme alongside the likes of Jonnie Irwin, Danni Menzies and Jean Johanson.

While Laura joined the Channel 4 show back in 2012, Jasmine has presented A Place In The Sun for 16 years.

Meanwhile, Jasmine recently revealed it wasn’t love at first sight after she first met her now-husband Jon Boast when they were both working on the programme back in 2004.

She told the Mirror: “He was my cameraman. It wasn’t love at first sight, but a slow burner.

“We definitely weren’t each other’s types. We basically got thrown together in this amazing experience.”
