Families looking for a special way to see in 2019 might want to consider a trip to Legoland Windsor Resort!
That’s because the theme park is hosting a fun-filled bash complete with fairytale-inspired games, a magic show and a disco complete with appearances from your favourite characters.
To complete the festivities, there will even be a dazzling fireworks display, and guests who don 3D glasses can see the colourful fireworks exploding into thousands of tiny Lego bricks too!
The evening will also include a hearty evening meal, bubbles for adults and mocktails for children, and a few more surprises including a fancy dress photo booth.
The New Year’s Eve packages are available to book on the Legoland website, with a choice of a stay at either the Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel, or the themed Castle Hotel.
Resort Hotel stays start from £499 for a family-of-four, with a buffet evening meal. Castle Hotel stays start from £599 for a family-of-four, with a three-course evening meal. (Both based on a 31st December 2018 stay).
In both instances, the price includes an overnight stay in a LEGO themed family room, access to the spectacular fireworks display, special 3D glasses to wear during the display, a complimentary drink to toast in the New Year, evening meal, breakfast, all the evening entertainment and even a splash and play in the indoor LEGO pirate-themed water play area.
As Legoland is tailored to younger kids, the fireworks display will take place at 9.30pm so little ones can get an early night – but for those who do want to stay up, the hotel lounges will remain open serving up drinks and nibbles, as well as screening the famous countdown live at the ‘real’ midnight.
Kids allowed to stay up late will still have access to the Brick Pit for Lego building fun, as well as the photo booth.
Already made New Year’s Eve plans, but considering treating the kids with a trip to the theme park next year? You can find plenty more Legoland deals and discounts to help make it a budget-friendly break.
