Kane Brown Reveals Luke Combs Helps Him Stay 'Calm' on the 2019 Grammys Stage

Kane Brown is in heaven at his first-ever Grammy Awards!

The “Lose It” singer, who is presenting an award on Sunday alongside his friend and fellow country star Luke Combs, tells PEOPLE that even though he’s typically a “super chill person,” he’s admittedly a little anxious to be on such a coveted stage.

“I was kind of nervous,” Brown says. “But I’ve got a fellow friend, Luke Combs, up on stage with me so it’s kind of like having a brother up there. We calm each other down.”

While Combs will take the stage to present with Brown, the “Beautiful Crazy” singer also garnered his first-ever nomination for best new artist. Combs was nominated alongside Dua Lipa, Chloe x Halle, Greta Van Fleet, H.E.R., Margo Price, Bebe Rexha and Jorja Smith.

Brown, who walked the red carpet in a Versace suit with his wife Katelyn Jae, also acknowledged all of the women who were nominated for Grammys this year.
