In footage posted to her friend’s account, the unnamed model can be seen using a hammer to smash the nose off of the sculpture in the Swiss Valley Park, Warsaw, Poland.
She shamelessly laughs as the 200-year-old statue crumbles in front of her.
It is thought the video – which emerged over the weekend – was done as a prank to attract social media followers.
But it was quickly removed after the influencer received a huge backlash from viewers.
One wrote: “In the normal world she is called a w****r and not an influencer.”
“I hope the police will come to her tomorrow [Monday] at 6.00am,” another added.
She later posted an apology grovelling to her 5,900 followers.
After being translated from Polish, she was reported to have said: “What happened yesterday should not have taken place at all and seriously, I regret that I did it.
“I’m so stupid. I will not say what was driving me, why I did it because it is more of a private affair, but I really wanted to apologise to everyone.”
There has been speculation online that the influencer has been dropped from advertising campaigns after the video emerged.
Poland’s first fully-online bank, mBank, also spoke out against the footage as they are believed to have been working with the influencer.
mBank posted on Instagram: “We definitely do not support such behaviour and the appropriate services should deal with it.
“As for the responsibility for what the actress does many weeks after the completed photos are taken – we cannot be responsible for the individual choices of such people.”
The woman is not the only Instagram sensation to have sparked controversy in recent months.
Last month a playboy model was arrested for releasing an explicit anti-religion video.
