SKINCARE brand The Ordinary is infamous for it's cheap products that not only are ingredient-focused, but actually work.
Cutting out fancy packaging and expensive marketing, the cult brand has passed on the costs for its customers, and this month is no different with he launch of it's latest products.
The £5.50 Squalane Cleanser sold out online during the first 24 hours it was on sale, and the brand is now furiously trying to keep up with demand, according to a spokeswoman for the brand.
The not-so-secret ingredient squalane, the concentrated form of the fate squalene that's naturally found in our bodies, is thought to be nourishing for the skin.
Found in our skin's natural oils, and in some plants, the ingredient is a source of 'replenishing fatty acids and antioxidants', according to the Skincare bible.
The most common type of squalane-derived products are oils, and The Ordinary sells one packed with the nutrients for around £5.
