The Duchess of Cambridge, 37, looked radiant in a one-shoulder white dress by Alexander McQueen as she walked the red carpet for the star-studded affair.
Accompanying her husband Prince William to the 72nd annual British Academy of Film and Television awards in London, Kate opted for a suitably glamorous full-length gown by her wedding dress designer which featured statement shoulder detailing.
And it appears that the style savvy mum-of-three took fashion inspiration from Princess Diana for the glamorous occasion.
In a touching nod to her late mother-in-law, Kate also wore a pair of Princess Diana's pearl and silver drop earrings.
Featuring a diamond-studded clasp and dainty pearl droplets, Princess Diana famously wore the beautiful earrings while accepting the United Celebral Palsy Foundation's Humanitarian of the Year Award in 1995.
But it wasn't just Diana's jewellery Kate took style inspiration from this evening.
The Duchess of Cambridge's stunning white frock – with flower embellishment on the shoulders and tulle detail – looks incredibly similar to a dress Princess Diana wore back in 1991.
The late Royal made fashion history when she attended a charity gala ballet performance in Rio de Janerio wearing a one shoulder white dress by British fashion designer Gina Fratini.
Taking style inspiration from Diana's second most famous white dress, Kate's Bafta gown also features an embellished shoulder as well as a stylish pleated skirt.
But in signature Kate style, the Duchess of Cambridge wore her hair in a chic updo and completed her make-up with a sweep of smokey metallic eyeshadow and nude lipstick.
Complete with a stylish cinched in waist, Kate's breathtaking gown also featured a pleated skirt which flashed her £525 Jimmy Choo glittery high heels as she walked the red carpet.
However, it wasn't just Princess Diana Kate Middleton paid tribute to tonight.
The Duchess of Cambridge also wore a beautiful bracelet which once belonged to the Queen Mother.
The wide Quatrefoil bracelet is a priceless piece featuring three rows of diamonds.
Kate Middleton and Prince William have attended the awards ceremony every year since the Duke of Cambridge was made President of the BAFTAs in 2010.
After walking the red carpet, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge sat front row for tonight's awards ceremony.
