A TEENAGER who blames her mum's "overfeeding" for her 22-stone weight, has begged her family to join her on a strict diet.
16-year-old Evie from Gloucester – who appeared on last night's It's Your Fault I'm Fat – explains she's too embarrassed to leave the house, admitting she hates her body.
Along with her mum Kirstie and stepdad Ash, Evie's family weighs a combined total of 60 stone, with Kirstie weighing 20st 13lbs and Ash slightly less at 19st 10lbs.
"It frustrates me how big I am," revealed Evie.
"I've always been overweight from a young age.
"I was always chubbier than all the other kids."
But the teen is committed to making a change, after explaining her mum "overfed" her with large portions of carb-heavy meals as a child.
"My mum probably gives me too much and I eat it because it's there," she explained.
"I wish she wouldn't give us such big portions, then I wouldn't have grown such a big appetite and I wouldn't be as big as I am now.
"I'm not saying it's her fault, but it kind of is."
And now Evie's weight problems have started affecting her mental health, with the teenager admitting she struggles to leave the house and feels "so anxious" about her appearance.
In the episode, the family begin their six-week weight loss journey after Evie records an emotional video clip, begging her mum and stepdad to help her get healthy.
"I've got to this point where I don't want to get any bigger," Evie revealed.
"So, please could you help me lose a lot of weight? You guys could be a little bit more supportive.
"As in, when I'm trying to do diet, if you'd join in it would be beneficial for all of us.
"You were the one who was overfeeding me."
To kickstart their weight loss journey, the family are required to reduce their daily intake to 500 calories, with Kirstie and Ash replacing two of their three meals a day with shakes.
As Evie is under 18, her diet is dramatically reduced from 3,000 to 1,500 calories a day.
The trio – who Evie nicknames "the pudding family" for their love of treats – are strictly banned from enjoying desserts.
Aside from diet, Kirstie, Ash and Evie are required to increase their activity levels and will meet with personal trainers twice a week.
Evie, who struggles with self-confidence, finds this part of the regime particularly difficult.
Feeling reluctant to enter the gym, she explained: "I don't like other people being around, judging me.
"I feel very insecure and I just hate it," she said, crying.
And although mum Kirstie has a moment of weakness – giving into a 20p bag of sweets – at the end of the six-week period, the family have shed almost five stone between them.
Evie lost almost two stone, while Kirstie dropped a stone and a half and Ash one stone and 4lbs.
